I-Tools is a simple to use, stand alone application for the creation of piping system isometrics.

System Isometrics are usually created for the purposes of piping stress analysis or to produce drawings to aid in the process of commissioning / hydraulic testing. In some cases, for the purposes of effective work management, pipes are segmented by geographical area. I-Tools will allow these separate segments to be merged to a single pipeline (as opposed to a system, which contains pipes for several pipelines).

I-Tools has the following features:

• Processes Alias proprietary IDF or PCF file formats through ISOGEN (any system that supports ISOGEN will generate either an IDF or PCF file).
• User interface to select data files interactively.
• Uses I-Configure Project Manager application for control of isometric styles (ISOGEN input/output controls, backing sheet etc).
• Connection check on groups of files.
• System and pipeline generation from groups of input files.
• Connected pipelines can be referenced in an .FLF file for later use.
• Built-in viewer for output drawings and message files.
• Modular architecture allowing features to be turned on and off.
• User interface for drawing generation using Personal ISOGEN.
